Rick Simpson is the owner/manager of Rolling Green Nursery in Greenland NH. 2011 marks his 35th year in the horticultural industry. In 1976 Rick founded Rolling Green Landscaping and worked in landscape construction for 25 years. In 1989, the local real estate market slumped and Rick decided to diversify to a retail nursery. In 1991, Rick and his wife Beth attended Disney's "Landscape Magic" and that set the tone for Rolling Green's "good show everyday".

He also sits on the NH Agricultural Advisory Board, the NH Horticultural Industries Board, is a founding member of NH Landscape Association, former president of the NH Plant Growers, and member of American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA) and New England Nursery Association(NENA).

Her career has taken her from Fauna (working in her Dad's Veterinary practice) to Flora- as a manager and buyer for Rolling Green. Rick and Beth are 2006 ANLA Garden Center University graduates- credit what they learned from Prof. Ian Baldwin to helping them grow their business, even during difficult economic times
