Yes, they will be in bloom this year. Growers were able to peel back the greenhouses and pot up roses in early March due to the snowless and warmer than usual winter. Some of the hardy shrub roses we carry are Knockouts, Drifts & Easy Elegance. Knockouts come in singles, doubles, red, pink, yellow and grow 3-5′ – super disease resistant. Drifts are low growing mound roses: coral, apricot, red, pink, these little beauties bloom effortlessly. Easy Elegance roses are from Bailey’s breeding program. Bailey Nurseries, headquartered in Minnesota, and a five generation family business also introduced The Endless Summer Family of Hydrangeas – the newest introduction ‘Bloomstruck’. Some of our favorite Easy Elegance roses are ‘Champagne Wishes’ (creamy white), ‘All the Rage’ (coral), ‘Snowdrift’ (white) and ‘Mystic Fairy’ (red). We have two climbers from easy Elegance as well: ‘Ramblin’ Red’ and the new pale apricot ‘Above & Beyond’. Outside of brand families are ‘Bonica’ and ‘The Fairy’ two of our favorite pink roses, long blooming and disease resistant.
