We’re stocked and ready for you! Each pack gives you two dahlia tubers. They are fantastic in containers, flower beds, and cutting gardens. They can often survive our New England winters as a perennial but it’s best practice to dig them up every fall and store them in a dry, cool place through the winter, and then place them back out when the spring temperatures are consistently warm. You can get several years out of them that way. They like full sun (a little afternoon shade) and moist, good soil.
Green Tip: You’ll get a stronger plant is you pinch the Dahlia when it’s between 12″ and 16″ tall and has at least 4 sets of leaves on the center stalk. The plant will branch out, become bushier, and give you more blooms! See this picture on where to pinch.
