Garden School Series: Bees and Native Pollinators of New England

09/14/2019 @ 10:30 am - 09/14/2019 @ 12:00 pm

14 Sep 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Rolling Green Nursery

As part of our Garden School Series, please join us for a presentation on pollinators of New England with Joe Marttila, owner of SeaBee Honey in Rye, NH. They manage numerous apiaries in towns such as Epping, Stratham, Exeter, Rye, Hampton Falls and North Hampton with the mission to preserve both pollinators and farmland in the Seacoast.

He will give you a basic understanding of honey bees and other native pollinators, and explain why pollinators play such a critical role in the ecosystem. He will also touch on why pollinators are in decline and what we can do to help.

All are invited to attend this free program. The event is free but please register so we can plan for headcount.
