14 Mar 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Rolling Green Nursery

As part of our free Garden School Series, learn about honey bees and other native pollinators of New England from Joe Marttila of SeaBee Honey, located in Rye, NH. They manage numerous apiaries in towns such as Epping, Stratham, Exeter, Rye, Hampton Falls and North Hampton with the mission to preserve both pollinators and farmland in the Seacoast.

He will give you a fascinating glimpse into the world of honey bees and other New England native pollinators, and explain why pollinators play such a critical role in the ecosystem. He will also touch on why pollinators are in decline and what we can do to help.

This event is free. Please RSVP so we can plan for headcount.
