Plants That Are Toxic To Pets

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has compiled an extensive list of plants that are toxic to pets or that have been reported as having intense effects on the gastrointestinal tracts of dogs, cats, and/or horses. Their website lets you sort by plant type or pet type to find the information you need quickly and easily. If you believe that your animal is ill or may have ingested a poisonous substance, or if you have any further questions regarding the information contained in their database, contact either your local veterinarian or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center’s 24-hour emergency poison hotline at 1-888-426-4435.
